Age of Divinity

The goddesses Altea and Vestinel were charged with the creation of their own worlds by their father. He praised Altea's world, Alcheringa, for its beauty and abundance. Envious of her sister, Vestinel poisoned Altea using the Poison of Turpitude before fleeing back to the Mist Lands, the mysterious realm that she created herself. Altea fell into a deep sleep and the Land of Altea was born from her dream, modeled after Alcheringa. Thereafter, the Monolith became the axis point connecting Altea and the Mist Lands. Protecting the Monolith became the eternal duty of the Land of Altea.

Age of the Dragons

Poisoned by turpitude, Altea continued to create life however, a few of the Ancients who were closest to her were infected by the poison, becoming the Fallen. The Fallen Ancients opened the Monolith, and from the Mist Lands came the Void Dragon, who launched a massive attack on the Land of Altea.Charged with the protection of the Land of Altea, both the Ancient Dragon and Chaos Dragon met the Void Dragon in battle. Although they succeeded in repelling the invader, the Chaos Dragon was infected by the Poison of Turpitude.Left with no other options, the Ancient Dragon killed the Chaos Dragon, while he himself was also left with heavy wounds.Just before his death, the Chaos Dragon split himself apart into seven fragments. In order to prevent the fragments from being misused, the Ancient Dragon also split himself into two pieces, though one other tiny fragment fell into the mortal world.

Age of the Ancients

Corrupted by the Poison of Turpitude, the elves' Tree of Life gradually withered. To aid the elves, the good Ancients gifted them the Core, an artifact of considerable magical power.
Meanwhile, in the Land of Altea, the Red Dragon Rubinart was born from a fragment of the Chaos Dragon on Ayrn Island. Another fragment in the Tel Numara region became the Desert Dragon, though it was slower in awakening.
The chief of the Ancients, Arno, was stunned to learn of the existence of the dragons upon encountering the Silver Dragon. Awed by their erudite knowledge and immense power, he named the Silver Dragon Argenta, meaning "the wisest one."Deeply admiring each other, Arno and Argenta formed a close bond thereafter.
Not far to the north, in the Havelin region, another fragment of the Chaos Dragon, the White Dragon, awoke. The Ancients created the sea monster Serpentra.
As the numbers of Fallen Ancients multiplied, they became ever more aggressive, conducting dangerous research and experiments in their quest for knowledge and power. Even Arno fell in among their ranks. The sea monster Serpentra and the Black Dragon Karas were born one after the other. Serpentra was sealed away before its power was able to bloom, while Karas broke free of its bonds and began to take its revenge.
The Fallen Ancients, having gone berserk, finally attempted to activate the Monolith and open the path between Altea and the Mist Lands. A fragment of the goddess Vestinel, the maiden Lunaria, was summoned to Altea under Arno's guidance. Compelled by the Ancients, Lunaria opened the Altea side of the Monolith before vanishing.
With the Monolith opened, the Poison of Turpitude once again began to seep into the world, and the land fell into crisis. With the help of his wife, Arno recovered his senses and realized how foolish he had been. He swore then to close the Monolith.
Sealing the Monolith required a massive amount of energy. To that end, Arno decided to use the Ancients themselves, who carried the power of the goddess. He left only his daughter, Gaharam, to pass down the prophecy of the goddess and the knowledge of the Ancients. Arno summoned all of the Ancients to him over the span of three days and used their flesh and blood as well as his own to create a sealing stone.
The Silver Dragon Argenta poured a large portion of the power of the Ancient Dragon she carried within her into the sealing stone, thereby closing the Monolith. Under the massive onslaught, the land of the Ancients collapsed and fell deep into the ocean. This catastrophe wiped out nearly all of the Ancients, sparing but a handful.

Age of the Sages

Argenta the Silver Dragon and Rubinart the Red Dragon met each other, whereupon Argenta urged Rubinart to interact more with humankind.
Bishas Arnobius appeared and spread the knowledge of the Ancients throughout the land for humankind. Humankind quickly built up its own civilization, and the first human kingdom, Lunascent, was established. In order to protect humanity from an attack by Karas the Black Dragon, Bishas Arnobius defeated him, sacrificing himself in the process.
The sage Arnobius had two disciples, Jacob and Marian, each with opposing ideals. The two went on to become the founders of the Cleric Order and the Peorista Mages.
Rubinart the Red Dragon passed his knowledge on to the people of Lunascent, and the kingdom flourished.
He discovered a small fragment of the Void Dragon, which he used to create a race of humans called the Lankow.

Age of the Red King

Rubinart set a mystical fire to burn Lunascent, and the kingdom's power gradually waned. Under the leadership of a former Lunascent aristocrat, Pether, the Northern Kingdom invaded and annihilated Lunascent. Afterward, the Northern Kingdom established relations with the elves of Anu Arendel, becoming the first kingdom to do so. Using the Water Crystal provided by Pether, the elves assisted the Northern Kingdom in lifting the sunken land of Siennaka above the waves, whereupon it was renamed Lotus Marsh.
The Red Dragon Rubinart encountered the White Dragon in Havelin and named it Iona. Iona then imparted the memory and wisdom of the Chaos Dragon onto Rubinart.
Pether became king of the Northern Kingdom. He then united the entire continent, establishing Altea's first unified kingdom. From then on, Pether was called "The Conqueror."
The elves eventually learned that the Water Crystal they had used at Siennaka had in fact been forcefully seized by Pether from the Water Spirits, causing the queen of the elves to cut ties with the humans.
Lunaria appeared once again and activated the Monolith. Pether, along with Meriendel and Rubinart, went on to seal the Monolith for the second time. In the end, only Pether returned.
After learning the truth that Altea was created from the dream of the goddess, Pether vowed to destroy the illusory dream world. He took his most trusted confidants and disappeared, leaving the kingdom to fall into chaos thereafter.

Age of Warfare

After Pether's disappearance, tensions between different regional factions ran high, plunging the continent into a period of strife. It was at this time that a fragment of the Chaos Dragon awakened as the Green Dragon near Lotus Marsh.
The Dragon Followers, those who believed in the dragons, incited chaos across the land, and the Cleric Order denounced them as a cult. At the same time, the Magic Wars broke out between the Cleric Order and the sorcerers of the Peorista Mages. The re-emergence of Karas the Black Dragon, however, forced them to settle their differences quickly.
Another fragment of the Ancient Dragon was awakened by Argenta and became the Gold Dragon, who was named Geraint by a human girl. Under Argenta's guidance, Geraint mastered his own power and traveled the land, sealing away the Chaos Dragon. He defeated the Green Dragon that was wreaking havoc on Lotus Marsh, and entrusted the sealed Green Dragon's Jewel to the Paiden tribe for safekeeping.
Afterward, Argenta and Geraint met the White Dragon Iona at Havelin, where they judged him to be an uncorrupted portion of the Chaos Dragon. Figuring that Iona was unfit to fight due to partial lack of power, both Argenta and Geraint left.

Age of the Knight King

The Kingdom of Cassius was founded with Blackwood Fortress as its capital, which was renamed Saint's Haven. Cassius I came to be known as "The Knight King."
The Knight King set out to subdue the Desert Dragon, from which he returned not long after. When he passed away, Cassius II took the throne.
Karahan, son of the leader of the Peorista Mages, was banished from the order for researching forbidden magics.
The Dragon Followers burned down the village of Karlima, starting a conflict with the kingdom's guards.
The Kingdom of Cassius held a tournament to commemorate its founding, where Velskud emerged as the remarkably talented victor. He was then chosen to join the Royal Knights.
Geraint visited Saint's Haven, and The Six Heroes were formed at his behest in order to suppress the Black Dragon. The Six Heroes became renowned after they defeated the rampaging sea monster Serpentra.
The Black Dragon Raid was immensely successful, and Karas was defeated. After the Black Dragon Raid, Nerwin became queen of the elves and took the name Narcia.
Karacule became the leader of the Peorista Mages, and Terramai became Pope of the Cleric Order.

Age of Vigilance

Following the Black Dragon Raid, Geraint and Argenta roamed the continent. They held back the newly-awakened Desert Dragon at Tel Numara.
Due to the assassination of Count Lair, the hybrids were confined within the limits of Lotus Marsh, and the outside world's disdain for them deepened.
Cassius II passed away, and Alexius I ascended the throne. Meanwhile, just as the sages foretold, the Emergent Star heralding the birth of the Prophet appeared. Various powers all made their preparations. A large group of demons along with the Red Army invaded Carderock Pass and attempted to seize the Prophet. At the same time, the Dragon Followers incited an insurrection in Saint's Haven. It was then that people realized that the Dragon Followers' power had spread throughout the kingdom. Sensing the return of the Prophet, Argenta quickly returned, too.
It was at this time that Professor K used a fragment of the Ancient Dragon he found to create a little girl called Daisy in Tel Numara, whom he adopted as his own granddaughter.
Alexius I died unexpectedly, and the young Cassius III took over as king.
